I would prefer to do spring but I am being a bit hopeful about the shoosmiths spring vac scheme (discover placement) (Going to be heartbroken if it’s a rejection post final stage😭) as the dates clash with SH spring scheme. Most likely since I’m too indecisive this is what I will end up doing lmao. 🤣
I did this for White & Case, Ropes & Gray and Paul, Weiss. 🥲
?This was the first thing I noticed as well, being mad rude and condescending for no reason.
Big big congratulations!! When did you manage to complete the VI btwNRF AC! This is my first and only AC in this cycle, any tips highly highly welcomed, from literally anyone. Especially on the negotiation task.
I'm just like "Just give me one I don't care when"🤣🤣
Have you heard back from ropes yet? I haven't.. same with paul weiss
ThanksCongratulations ! How long after the AC did they get back to you ?
27th Feb you mean😂 waiting on ropes and gray too!!I haven’t heard back from either yet. I have seen people with PFO from Paul, Weiss so just anxiously waiting for mine. 🥲🥲
As for Ropes & Gray, based on last year's forum, they didn’t get back to people until a week before the first AC date. I doubt we will hear back until at least Wed 27th January tbh.
?
I simply wouldn't expand more fully on my answer whilst processes are ongoing but gave another example than the one they suggested.
Calling someone mad rude and condescending because they explain why an interview question is a valid one is possibly the more rude response.
If you look at my past posting you will see I have been helpful and also have helped a number of people who DM. Fortunately now I will knkw there are some I should decline from helping.
er ... yes
Even I can see that it would and how as non law graduate
It wouldn't just be within employment law though would it? For example it may impact tendering processes as one example. Lawyers need to think more holistically and be able to spot issues they may need to refer to colleagues in other practice areas internally.

Damn the waiting is painful 😒 just roast me or accept me, my emotional reaction will be the same at this pointI haven’t heard back from either yet. I have seen people with PFO from Paul, Weiss so just anxiously waiting for mine. 🥲🥲

How'd you find their test?I would prefer to do spring but I am being a bit hopeful about the shoosmiths spring vac scheme (discover placement) (Going to be heartbroken if it’s a rejection post final stage😭) as the dates clash with SH spring scheme.
Obviously I’m not Jessica and she may have a different opinion due to her years of experience, but from a candidate perspective, do you really want to hold onto a firm who doesn’t value your time by leaving you hanging for so long and ignores your correspondence?@Jessica Booker
Hi hope you’re well, is 4 weeks post AC with no outcome excessive?
Normally I don’t think about it and get on with other things but I’ve had another VS offer which would clash with this firms VS dates if I were to be successful.
I have called and emailed and the firm has ignored every form of communication. I had a deadline of acceptance for the other firm any they were unable to accommodate an extension as other applicants were waiting to hear back.
(They’re known to give rejections if you chase for an update)
The firm stated if we had another offer to make them aware but they’ve ghosted me. 👻😂
Congrats! Do you mind sharing when you had your video interview and when you've heard back?NRF AC! This is my first and only AC in this cycle, any tips highly highly welcomed, from literally anyone. Especially on the negotiation task.
Maybe the first with hindsight could come across as rude but it wasn't meant to be. I was actually trying to joke that even as a non law student I can see the relevance.‘Er… yes, even I can see that…’
‘It wouldn’t just be within employment law though would it?’
Both of these comments came across as very rude and condescending. There is no need. 🤨
Think it went ok, it was just basic SJT and a small section consisting of Watson Glaser ques - can’t really judge these sjt’s feedback reports much because one might think they did really well and the firm might think it wasn’t up to the mark or vice versa😢How'd you find their test?
Hi! What time did you receive this if you don't mind me asking?NRF AC! I'm so shocked but super excited! I appreciate all the insight I can get since this is my first AC ever!
