Got Reed Smith AC and HSF AC.
Applied to Macfarlanes but I forgot, it; received an AC today.

Please take this off my account it makes using the forum unpleasant as my questions do not get answered. This can happen for two reasons.
The first is if your post contains a word picked up by our SPAM filters. We get a fair amount of people try to put promotional posts on the forums, often with highly suspicious content and/or links to websites that are pretty dodgy.
To ensure the safety of our community we set up spam filters to restrict the number of posts that could go live. The system is not perfect and sometimes promotional posts still get through the system and also it can be over restrictive and pick up occasional posts that clearly have no negative intention to them at all, but just because they have a word in them that our SPAM filters are set to pick up.
The second reason this happens is if an individual member’s content has raised concerns with the TCLA Community Assistants in the past. There are only a small number of people who have their accounts set to this pre-approval system (which requires the TCLA Community Assistants to approve posts before they are published). Community members who have received warnings or had their content deleted may be changed to this setting as we cannot monitor the forums 24/7 and are required to ensure the forums are a safe space for everyone.
There's no harm in it if you think your application will be strong (alongside grades) but, if it asks whether you've previously applied it could be an issue for the futureIs there any point applying to Cleary Gottlieb now if its a rolling deadline?
dw they're big in transportCurrently doing my Reed Smith VI. I live close to the train tracks and decided to do the VI at night for peace and quiet. As soon as I hit record, a train passed by! 😭😭
😭😂😂Three trains have passed in the last five minutes but I don't want to close the windows just yet because the cool breeze is keeping me calm. 🥲dw they're big in transport
Hi I am sorry you feel like that but just know that with practice you will get to the next step at some point (it has not happened yet for me either but it will at some point!).Reed Smith PFO after VI. I just don’t understand why!! The assessment report I got showed like a full score in numerical and verbal. The VI actually went well! I have done many VIs and always felt like I didn’t do well but for this one I honestly felt like I did well! I just don’t get it… it’s so disheartening(
Thank you so much! Will doHiya @futuretrainee101ac
I think it’s worth sending them a quick email now to ask for an update, especially since it’s been a while. When I applied to BCLP, I got my response around February, so it’s not unusual for them to take a bit of time. Fingers crossed you hear back soon with good news!
I always include it in my apps and in the descriptions I elaborate on exactly why its relevant to the firm I'm applying to, to tie it back together - if that makes sense.Hi everyone. Do you think it is wise to include two Forage job simulations by two different firms in the cover letter for another firm? I'd include them to supplement my interest in that practice area because, besides academics and professional experience, I don't have much to demonstrate my interest in the field. I know they don't mean much, but at least they back up my interest.
