Don't think so, as this is the 3rd and last week of interviews with decisions by mid-March.does anyone know whether V&E are still giving out AC invites?

Assuming you haven't accepted a TC already there's nothing wrong with this - firms know people do multiple VSs and I've heard sometimes it makes you look more desirable when it comes to making TC offers as you're an in demand candidate. Though you don't have to post if you don't want to - some people don't post until they start.thoughts on posting multiple VS offers in one Linkedin post? or is it best to not post and keep it confidential until potentially accepting a TC offer?
This is such a personal preference thing. Lots of people do it, plenty don’t.thoughts on posting multiple VS offers in one Linkedin post? or is it best to not post and keep it confidential until potentially accepting a TC offer?
I only applied to US firms and i was asked on 2 ACs why I didn't apply to any UK firms, so I would have a brief idea on what to sayOk thanks! Do you think I could be asked why I chose English firms over American firms? Or too broad?
I applied for summer only and did my interview yesterdayDoes anyone know if PW interviews were only people who had put spring availability or if people who applied for only summer got invites too?
I guess that is my PW PFO confirmation thenI applied for summer only and did my interview yesterday
Personally I have heard stories of firms retracting VS offers when candidates show preference for one firm over the other... don't do this. And if you are make sure the three firm logos are EXACTLY the same size, if they are off by a pixel, you can say goodbye to your VS - and perhaps the SRA might get involved too...thoughts on posting multiple VS offers in one Linkedin post? or is it best to not post and keep it confidential until potentially accepting a TC offer?
You had me in the first half 🤣Personally I have heard stories of firms retracting VS offers when candidates show preference for one firm over the other... don't do this. They called me the next dayPeople with Links Summer Vac invite, how long did it take you to hear back post AC?
Same loolI guess that is my PW PFO confirmation then
The ones left open (mostly) are: the majority of direct TCs where you stand a good chance and are actually used to recruit through are the ones that already closed (eg magic circle, a handful of other British firms). The ones left do not hire significantly through direct TC (except macfarlanes really, who rejected me post VS AC last cycle)Why are direct TCs pointless? I know
So many people who got direct TCs?
Maybe throw an application at the big 4 (law or non-law) as they don't take long and have good training plus exit oppsGot that Ropes rejection later in the day. This is me done as realistically PW, K&L Gates and MoFo are going to be rejections at this point and the direct TCs left are pretty pointless applying for - need a career path other than being a lawyer I guess, if anyone has any helpful insight there then please let me know as I have no clue where my life is going now
Doubt that's a rejection to be honest...I’ve just received email from PMC saying that they tried to call to notify the outcome of the AC. Is it possible that this is rejection if they tried to call me?
Yeah true! I am looking at inhouse TCs but they seem few and far betweenMaybe throw an application at the big 4 (law or non-law) as they don't take long and have good training plus exit opps
