Do you know if 77% means you also 'passed' the CAPP assessment? Thank you :)
I have no clue sorry! However, I can provide insight into my results?

Last year my Capp results were:
Strengths - working with others & commercial thinking
    Weakness - critical thinking

    This year Capp results were:
Strengths - working with others & Excellence
Weakness - resource and working management

I’m not sure which strength combo is better tbh

No worries at all - thank you for sharing your results! My strengths are motivation + resilience; my weakness is leadership preference. I feel like trying to work out the significance of these results is a bit like reading tea leaves - hopefully GR will put us out of our misery soon with some positive news 😊

Hmm, I got 29/40 (33 percentile) but I know someone that got 28/40 (55 percentile).

It may be the Capp test that we’ve passed or a combination!
I’m speculating but I’ve heard before that they want a 65 average and a 2.1 (or better) in every module across all years. I haven’t got that so they could just be autorejecting me on that basis. Probably not though

Clifford Chance Watson Glaser pass mark? I didn’t get their AC though. Want to feel better about passing. I’d never passed one before now. I know HL uses WG too. In fact, most firms seem to.
Firstly - a big well done for passing! You should definitely feel very proud of yourself. 🐐
I'm not sure of what their pass mark is but the CC test is a good one to have passed given that the pass will stick w you for a couple cycles now. Also - I'm not sure if you already have done so but you can request your score by emailing GR.

I also passed but was rejected post-app sadly. Best thing to do is use it as evidence of your abilities - use it to boost your confidence for other apps going forward. You've got this

Definitely speculation. I did not get 65 average in every module 😭 They may reject me once they review my application though. It’s most definitely the tests that automatically reject!

Your results are good leadership isn’t needed at such a junior stage so I don’t think that’s a negative being a weakness. I will say they have already given some AC’s out last week but I’m unsure of which scheme it’s for.

Wishing you good news soon x

i hope not because then i'm done for. i've got to the 77% thing but i'm not sure if it means anything.
It might not be an auto-reject - keep faith in yourself. It's not over till it's over. 🫶

Has anyone heard back from Sidley for Spring/Summer, I submitted early September and have not heard back anything and has anyone been deferred after their interview for WVS?

Does being in touch and knowing the grad rec, help in any manner? I was having a discussion about this with someone I met at an open day and they told me it defo helped them! Views?

It has been very very helpful to me (not in terms of it being an easier way to progress to the next stage but if you have a strong app and they remember you ofc it’ll help you!) but also in terms of getting very good advice not only for that particular firm but also if you want generic advice for apps.

I think it also varies if you just know them from an open day or if you have worked at the firm and the grad rec knows you (personally from experience latter helps a bit more but it’s helpful both ways!)

I have a question to the community, for instance Sidley offers 17 TCs, they do four schemes which hosts around 20 candidates per scheme which comes to a total of 80. With the conversion to TC being difficult, what exactly should a candidate do to secure the offer and how do they assess you (specifically in Sidley). Does anyone have views on this?

Also any idea on how many candidates they send AC invites?
