do you guys think they post all pfo's at the same time and Invites at the same time then... Im so stressed atpThat's what I am thinking - we're on hold incase someone drops out or those successful applied for spring?? I applied for summer.
No idea ! 🤷🏻♂️do you guys think they post all pfo's at the same time and Invites at the same time then... Im so stressed atp
Last year they sent out holding emails to everyone who completed the VI (VI was the 3rd stage of the process rather than combined with SJT) and gave out ACs to everybody at the same time. Either they have: (i) sent out all their ACs and those with holding emails will be PFO'd on Friday; (ii) sent out ACs to the highest scoring candidates; (iii) waiting for AC holders to book/drop out; (iv) they're sending out ACs as they are reviewing results and VI responses (unlikely considering the number of applicants who progressed to the next stage). No idea ! 🤷🏻♂️
I would still wait, it seems like only a handful of people have received an AC so far. The same thing happened with AG - some people got an AC early, some people a bit later.Well Reed Smith is definitely going in the rejection pile 4 rejections in one day is a new record for me😭
If it makes you feel better I did 2 vac schemes last year, didn't convert any and have been rejected by 15 firms this cycle but we keep going!!Well Reed Smith is definitely going in the rejection pile 4 rejections in one day is a new record for me😭
Someone had raised a good point to me earlier and mentioned that Reed Smith invites 70 candidates to AC (according to Chambers Student). So I don't think we should worry for now, possibly like what @sxw517 said, they must have invited the higher candidates first.Well Reed Smith is definitely going in the rejection pile 4 rejections in one day is a new record for me😭
Just a quick question about this, how hard is it to convert a vacation scheme? If it makes you feel better I did 2 vac schemes last year, didn't convert any and have been rejected by 15 firms this cycle but we keep going!!
Have you received an update with AG post test? I think the silence could indicate a pfoI would still wait, it seems like only a handful of people have received an AC so far. The same thing happened with AG - some people got an AC early, some people a bit later.
Not sure about this cycle but last cycle there were ACs into March with about a week or two notice before the dates, certainly wouldn't rule anything out from AG if you're post test!Have you received an update with AG post test? I think the silence could indicate a pfo
Totally depends on the firm but I'd say roughly 50% of those on a VS will get a TC. Higher for firms that hire exclusively from their vac schemesJust a quick question about this, how hard is it to convert a vacation scheme?
What about asking in the specific Reed Smith thread ? If they’re still sending out ACs or not ?Someone had raised a good point to me earlier and mentioned that Reed Smith invites 70 candidates to AC (according to Chambers Student).
