@axelbeugre @Jessica Booker please can I ask if you have any tips for an interview with Shearman & Sterling for their vacation scheme?
Hey Guest, do you have a question for graduate recruitment? Gemma Baker from Willkie is live to answer your questions!
Thank you! Yes it is!Congratulations! Is this your first cycle?
Does it specify it has to be academic/professional? If not I’ve used references before from professionals I’ve networked with but if they’ve specified I’m not sure that’s helpful! Is there a personal tutor or favourite lecturer you could contact?does anyone know what to do for someone struggling to find academic / professional references ?
Morgan Lewis are asking for both 😭 There are but as I’ve graduated university and morgan lewis’ deadline is approaching this could be hard haha - i think i’ll give it a go anyway. thank you!!Does it specify it has to be academic/professional? Hey can I ask if this is for w&c’s spring/summer vac schemeDoes anyone know how long it takes for firms to get back to you after final stage interviews (specifically White & Case, but more generally as well)? Thank you!
No clue! I think so, if you search TCLA forum history it mentions WG. Ngl, I had no idea, I thought next round was interview lolSorry dumb question but has Cooley always had a WG as part of their process?

Absolutely 😭 I've started to wonder if my Italian accent might be a factor in not progressing past the interview stage, despite feeling like I've given the right answers.I am not a native speaker of English and every time I feel so frustrated and nervous when I have to do a VI or attend an AC. Does anyone feel the same way😭
Congrats can I ask when u appliedCooley WG invite!
(Why do they send these updates so late in the evening? I can't sleep with all that dopamine in my veins 😤)
Yes, all the time. Especially when I can't find the right word that I KNOW the meaning of, but it just doesn't come to me in English. But I think that's what makes us unique, too.I am not a native speaker of English and every time I feel so frustrated and nervous when I have to do a VI or attend an AC. Does anyone feel the same way😭
