Reed Smith PFO incomingā¦. that Feedback report was brutal š How do they even assess the pillars?? I feel awful.
You should contact the firm to explain this. There might not be anything they can do, but at the same time they might and they definitely wonāt be able to do anything if you donāt flag it to them.I have a slight issue @Jessica Booker @axelbeugre I took the akin assessment on the 13th or 14th but when I did not receive a feedback report. I logged in today and it says that the 'deadline has passed'. However, I remember it saying that my assessment was submitted and they would get look over it. However, I also do not have a confirmation email. What do I do?
I emailed them and they said it was sent in errorI completed my Reed Smith assessment on 30th December and received my assessment confirmation then. However, I just received another confirmation of completing my assessment so am slightly confused. Has this happened to anyone else? Is it possible that they think I completed it again? Or was it simply a mistake? Thank you!
I personally do not know this but I would not say so, if they do not have a minimum a level requirement, they will surely not going to focus on UCAS points so I would not worry too much. However, if you want to be 100% sure, I would email graduate recruitment at the firms in question and ask, they are the best people to ask.@axelbeugre @Jessica Booker do you know if for firms which have no minumum a level requirements whether they still require a certain number of UCAS points?
It is really difficult to say and it depends on whether the application is rolling or not. If it is not, then I personally used to assume it was a rejection (and I was right), however, if the application is rolling, you never know so I would not lose hope.Do graduate recruitment teams review applications in the order they received it? Is it safe to assume a PFO when I see candidates progress to the next round when they applied on the same day or later than me? @Jessica Booker
I shared some tips on this post here so I hope these are helpful: https://www.thecorporatelawacademy....ns-discussion-thread-2023-24.8037/post-151489Hi everyone, could I get your opinion on this app question for Stephenson Harwood. The question is - "Read the article on sustainability in Yachting. A client has asked for an overview and the key points. In 600 words, please summarize the article (with a link to an article)". Any advice on how to approach this? Should I address the client as if I'm writing an email, or do i just dive straight in? Also, should I address overview and key points separately?
Freshfields is okay, I personally used it too last year and my application got through the next stage so it is safe to say that it is okay to address them as Freshfields.Do I need to use Freshfields full name or is just Freshfields okay?
I have not heard anything yet I also applied around a month ago. Do you have any updates?Any news from HFW post app? Applied a month ago
Yes, I shared some tips on AC here: https://www.thecorporatelawacademy....ns-discussion-thread-2023-24.8037/post-151966 which I think could be really useful!Hi first time poster here, I have a Freshfields AC on thursday and was wondering if anyone had last minute tips?
I was also wondering if vac scheme ACs are as strict/comprehensive as TC ACs or are they generally more relaxed about it?
I would email graduate recruitment and explain the situation confirming you have taken the test. Chances are if they cannot find it, they might send you another link so I would not worry and I would immediately email graduate recruitment.I have a slight issue @Jessica Booker @axelbeugre I took the akin assessment on the 13th or 14th but when I did not receive a feedback report. I think most people had 19 minutes for 30 questions - at least I didHow much time did everyone have to complete the Osborne Clarke WG? I had 24 mins for 30 questions and theres no way that is with 25% added time š
Are you talking about Verbal Reasoning Test (which is straight after submitting the application) or Watson Glaser test? I understand they are 2 different tests. If it's Verbal Reasoning Test then it's standard 19 mins for 30 questionsHow much time did everyone have to complete the Osborne Clarke WG? It was the true false cannot say section of the Watson Glaser.
