assuming itll be a wait for latham then if they're doing open day apps first. anything from skadden, slaughters (tc) or linklaters?
I’m still waiting to hear on the Women’s oneHas anyone heard back from Bakers about their open day?
Yeah I emailed and got a response with my score pretty quickly. The only other communication I’ve had is the same email you receivedAnyone heard from Hogan Lovells post WG? Do we have to email grad rec to see if we passed the test?
After completing the Watson Glaser I only got this email stating “ Thank you for completing your assessment for our Summer Vacation Scheme 2024 role.
We will be in touch soon with an update on your application.”
Feel your pain wish Gemma could tell us why the really strong apps did not make it like did apps numbers go really high close to deadline but we move on.Willkie PFO, thought my answers were very strong and specific. Anyway, we move on
Understand your point. Unfortunately, grad rec conveniently say for the large amount of apps they get, they can’t give individual feedback. But what confuses me is if they read every app they get before the deadline like they say on their website, how is it that they don’t note down points to evaluate each app (which one progresses or gets rejected). Surely, you are making a decision on some sort of ‘CRITERIA’. As an applicant, even if grad rec shares that criteria on the basis of which they’ve made the decision, I suppose that would help to some extent. But the fact that they don’t have time to offer feedback but to read every app that reaches them, doesn’t sit right with me. Makes me think how do they actually evaluate candidates…Feel your pain wish Gemma could tell us why the really strong apps did not make it like did apps numbers go really high close to deadline but we move on.
