i had my interview last friday (10th feb) - the of-counsels that interviewed me told me that i would hear back 'in a couple of days'

I need advice please @Jessica Booker:

so I require reasonable adjustments for an AC. In the AC invite email, it stated that if you request reasonable adjustments, you shouldn’t book your slot through portal but instead contact grad rec directly.

I emailed on Friday and then again on Monday evening (as deadline to book AC slot is 15th Feb). Grad rec emailed me back that they can provide adjustments and they’ll contact me in a couple of WEEKS to arrange adjustments/my interview. But when i checked the portal ACs begin 20th Feb and end 3rd March.

im nervous that they will a) forget to actually arrange a slot for me or b) once they do, everyone would have completed their ACs and spaces for their VS will be filled!

I don’t know if I should email by the end of the weekend to ask for an update, but I don’t know if that will look like I’m being impatient! It just seems crazy to wait a couple of weeks to book an AC when the AC period begins on Monday :/

If they have said they will contact you in a couple of weeks, I would not chase again until a couple of weeks are up. You are only seeing the interview slots - you are not seeing the full process. The recruitment team are likely to be able to add you to a date at an appropriate time.

I applied 25th Jan, got my VI invite on 10th Feb (London). I applied for the earlier of the 2 spring schemes so maybe they are assessing those first.

If they have said they will contact you in a couple of weeks, I would not chase again until a couple of weeks are up. You are only seeing the interview slots - you are not seeing the full process. The recruitment team are likely to be able to add you to a date at an appropriate time.

nah they're done. I'm waiting for my post-AC results. They said they would get back latest this Friday

They’re not - I’m still waiting to hear back too and I spoke with Graduate Recruitment who said they’re still reviewing applications and that they running ACs on a needs basis (I.e. if they review enough successful applications, they’ll arrange another AC). Hope that helps
