Hey Guest, do you have a question for graduate recruitment? Gemma Baker from Willkie is live to answer your questions!
Congrats! Which office? When did you do your VI?AG AC invite!! Been rejected from 9 firms so far & this is my first app cycle and AC. Does anyone have any advice or tips? I have no idea what’s coming or what to prepare for!!
Congrats!! When did you hear back from them both?!White & Case VI and Debevoise Open Day!
(Both spring vac schemes, W&C submitted early November, Debevoise the week of the deadline)
Well done on getting your VI! When did you receive notification about it?White & Case VI, I submitted my application for the Spring VS on the day of the deadline. If anyone has any advice on the VI that would be so helpful as I’ve never done one before.
I’m not sure if it’s changed this year because I had a technical problem (haven’t actually done the VI yet) and the team in their reply said that we will have a few seconds to prepare before answering the question.Prepare for the question:
"How would your friends describe you"
You have unlimited time to prepare so it's a fairly stress free VI (as far as any VIs can be stress free)
They sent me the test today (for DAS). I applied very late tho, deadline day, so not sure how fast they fill up vacanciesThanks! This is making me curious whether anyone has heard back regarding the DAS. I think so far I've seen one rejection post WG but nothing else 🤔
No, it was for the direct training contract. Perhaps, I can choose to do the SQE instead of the LPC? Strange that they didn’t pick up on it!Yes if its through the traditional route, but I'm surprised they wouldn't pick up on it? Did you apply for the SQE route? Because they do allow you to complete the SQE alongside your TC. So if you graduate next year July, you probably would be able to begin in 2024 - as they basically do the SQE alongside training
