Just double-checking: if the deadline for something is "midnight on Tuesday 4th June 2024", does that mean it's June 4th at 23:59?

I haven’t heard anything since they said they’re getting back by the 31st latest, not sure if this means they’ve seen my application and made a decision (hence not giving me a further extension)?

I received an invite too, but then the emails disappeared from my inbox just now.

Has anyone encountered the same issue?
