Yeah same I am still waiting.. why are they taking so long?????
Congrats! Was this for spring or summer?I heard back in about 3 hours? But I know someone earlier in the chat said that they emailed Weil and they said they'd ave AC outcomes by the end of this week?
Thanks, you tooYes they were definitely popular. Especially as they’re recruiting for 2021 and 2022. Good luck!
Still not a peep from Shearman....?
I got this email also - wondering if everyone got it ...PFO from DWF! Just wondering if everyone got the 'we were impressed with your application and encourage you to apply for a direct TC...'
This was for spring!Congrats! Was this for spring or summer?
Me too! Yeah, would appreciate if anybody had any tips on how to prepare for the case study and how to perform well.
Hey, I've done it and I'd say:Just received Mishcon case study! Does anyone know what to expect? Or how best I can prepare for a case study? Haven’t done one before so any general advice in case studies would be really appreciated!
I might clarify with grad recruitment because when I applied for the 2019 VS joint with the 2021 TC. I received two separate rejection emails on different datesThis isn’t unheard of
oh my that makes me tenseFew people got rejected yesterday
Thank you so much! This is really really helpfulHey, I've done it and I'd say:
-Don't worry about preparing anything specific to Mishcon (apart from which departments they have to help guide your responses) because all the questions are based on the case study itself
-You'll be given about half an hour to prepare and then will be expected to give a ten min presentation before being asked some questions so make sure to be confident in expressing yourself
-Address the issues first and express your opinion before moving onto the main points of your presentation and then give a conclusion to reinforce what you've said
-It was my first time doing a case study too and not being able to highlight or make notes as you normally would on the screen made it a little more difficult, but I personally found making a quick mind map with key info helped me throughout
-The HR team and the interviewer were all really nice - so go into it being confident and looking for to it! You've got nothing to lose
Sorry about the search function being down again guys. We'll have this back up and running asap.
i believe the ac is during the scheme for the tc!I am beyond confused .. why are people saying there is an AC following the interview for shearman's vac scheme? their website says its just the interview and quite a few people have told me thats the case? arrghhh??
Same boat for Birmingham, but it looks like they're only starting to replyNot heard from DWF myself... did anyone that heard back apply for the Birmingham office?
