congratulations, this is amazing! Did they ring or email?Thank you!! Found out at 3 today.
I imagine an HR partner would always be aware of what the firm is doing in the market, even if that can get quite technical - and some of them do actually even have law degrees! So as long as you don't ask them their opinion of a specific section of idk the civil procedure rules and keep it general about the firm's work I don't think it would be too amiss. But personally I tend to take HR interviews as an opportunity to ask all of my qs about training contract structure, growth strategy, diversity & inclusion, etc. This is what their specialism is in so this is what you'll probably get the best, most informative answers aboutHi guys, i have a VS interview with HR partner soon... in terms of the classic "do you have any questions" would you advise me to not ask law-specific questions as the interviewer is not a firm partner? Does this make sense?
not yetanybody who has got a final mishcon interview been told when their interview will be?
Sarcasm, moi?My brain isn't wired to read sarcasm (despite me being a really sarcastic person) and I was just about to do this...
Thank you JessicaInstitution means very little if anything. The one thing that may matter is what optional modules you have available to you though.
Yeah it looks like it has changed slightly from last year!oh but their website says its app form > WG test > Skype interview > written exercise and then VS offer? do hope its not this and is what you said though haha
Do people find it annoying/boastful when someone posts an offer? I assumed everyone did and after seeing people on Linkedin post theirs I did the same. Now I'm worried hahaI personally didnt make a post lol
Email!! Thanks so muchcongratulations, this is amazing! Did they ring or email?
I mean, I don't really care but I just don't like posting too much online personally.Do people find it annoying/boastful when someone posts an offer? I assumed everyone did and after seeing people on Linkedin post theirs I did the same. Now I'm worried haha
No, not really. THere's literally nothing wrong with celebrating your own achievements.Do people find it annoying/boastful when someone posts an offer? I assumed everyone did and after seeing people on Linkedin post theirs I did the same. Now I'm worried haha
Yepppp, applied 29 December hbu?So it does seem like Addleshaw are doing things in batches...has anyone still not heard back (London) after the flurry that seems to have happened today?
Joking aside, no I don't. It's an achievement, you worked hard, and you should absolutely be proud of it! I think belittling somebody for celebrating their success is pretty negative and bitter.Do people find it annoying/boastful when someone posts an offer? I haven't had an email response either... If memory serves, the dates are expected to be w/c 28th March and w/c 28th June (London). I feel that a lot of people are going to be going for the summer scheme!Has anyone else had confirmation of vacation scheme dates with TLT?
I have just started a new job and I am worried about booking annual leave. I have emailed TLT a couple of times (late last week and early today) and have had no response. I am a bit concerned as one of the proposed dates was the end of March and I need to give my line manager as much notice to book time off as possible.
When did you do yours? I did mine today and it was implied they were running them until the end of this week and I should expect to hear back after that.Is anybody still waiting for Weil post-AC?
