I'm sorry to hear that - but we have no idea what's strong and what isn't - we're almost completely blind here.
I submitted an application to HSF, spent forever on it, have visited the firm multiple times, met trainees and Grad Rec etc, got multiple trainees to read over my application and...
That seems absurd to me. How are you supposed to do something with no guidance or support? I assume it's because it's only 3000 words, but still, seems stupid. I'm sorry that happened.
Does anyone know when Freshfields make TC offers for the first-round applications? I have an AC with another firm for direct TC at the end of February and am waiting to hear if I have a final interview with FF. I prefer FF (so far) and wouldn't want to pull out of their process but also don't...
I've just completed the Freshfields Watson Glaser, when I finished, it popped up (in red bold), "Sorry - this email address has already been registered." Did it do that for everyone else?
This, quite literally, happened to me last cycle. I missed an invitation from Freshfields because my email was filtering things out (not even putting them into junk, just not letting it through at all). Check your online portals just to be sure!
Hey guys,
I have the Watson Glaser coming up for FF and I'm so lost on some questions. Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong? For the Virtual Employees question, my thinking is that the paragraph doesn't in anyway say what proportion of employees work from home - it just simply never mentions...
Anyone else still waiting to hear back from HFW? I'd pretty much given up all hope but I'm pretty sure someone posted the other day they'd received a rejection - and I'm still waiting to hear. I heard back from a firm earlier this week offering me an AC for a TC application I submitted last...
In my experience, it shouldn't be capitalised unless it would be capitalised for another reason. Like "I enjoyed studying geography because..." but "I enjoyed studying English because...". Languages should always be capitalised. I'd capitalise it as the name of your degree and module titles though.
I was at an event a couple of years ago where a recruiter said "relish goes on burgers, not on applications". She's head of gradrec at a firm that's been referred to on this thread in last day.
