I only had mine end of last week so not expecting a reply for 1-2 weeks (they didn't say that, just guessing!)How long does Sidley take post-AC to offer a VS?
Which law firms?Have discovered that some US firms don't require the GDL for non-law graduates and instead put you on a "bespoke SQE prep course" in partnership with Barbri. Does anyone know what this entails, and whether you're at a disadvantage having not done the GDL?
Yes, received one this morning, also!Has anyone else got an AC invite for Mishcon summer? Do they send it out in batches?
W&C AC almost 3 weeks agoAnyone heard back from White & Case in terms of being rejected from/progressing to the AC stage?
i think someone got a TI for the Leeds office, but yet to hear for London officeAnyone heard back from WBD?
Thank you, I've done a few AC's where you can use a laptop but it's just programmed to a word doc to avoid all the AI/googling concerns... guess that's just how this firm does it. My handwriting looks like dead spiders so best work on that lolIt could be any of those things unfortunately. It is not unknown for a full case study to be given and for a written output to be required.
I suspect they are doing it in a handwritten process to ensure there is no spell-check/AI/internet searching done - this is generally the only reason something would be handwritten these days.
