Katten and HL PFO today lol
Is anyone still waiting on Davis Polk and Latham Summer VS? strange they are taking so long for a PFO
Katten PFO was above average - they at least managed to put "application unsuccessful" in the subject, rather than the usual ambiguous "Your application to Katten" nonsense, saves time.
Katten PFO - honestly at such a loss, just PFO after PFO, idk what to do
I know some people got interviews but I don't know if they have all been sent.
For private equity focused firms like Kirkland what are some ways you could justify an interest in private equity without direct experience? i.e. would it be reasonable to say I enjoyed the variety in x experience, and PE involves lots of variation in companies in different industries, or is that reaching/not substantive enough?

how was the Fieldfisher AC? Got mine at the end of this week but not so sure what to expect! Would love some insight
Ropes & Gray AC, Katten PFO
They give you the facts verbally and then ask the questions. They do give you time to think and makes notes before you answer!
I sent Withers my new grades last night and they responded saying: "We are in the process of finalising our interviews for the Summer Vacation Scheme and you will be notified of the outcome of your application as soon as possible."
I'll let you interpret it however you like but I think there and not many AC left and they already made up their mind.
