@Jessica Booker How do I approach an interview that will be done with me and another candidate? so like a two candidate interview is what they have called it
How confident are you in your knowledge of the core LLB/PGDL subjects, including Contract, Tort, Trusts, Land, Criminal, and Public Law?
TCLA is teaming up with BPP for a free interactive event designed to refresh your fundamentals, especially for those interested in or planning to take the SQE. We'll practise multiple choice SQE questions, with prizes for the highest scoring participants!
Register HereInteresting approach (and one I find slightly odd in all honesty!). It’s really difficult to comment as I have never seen one in action, but I would suggest that if the questions are being directed to both of you, don’t always jump in first. However, I would expect the interviewer(s) to direct questions to each of you separately. Just be mindful of time when answering too. And finally look engaged when the other person is answering.@Jessica Booker How do I approach an interview that will be done with me and another candidate? so like a two candidate interview is what they have called it
Congratulations! What did you score on the TI?Just got an AC offer from Browne Jacobson!!!!!!
I submitted my test on 25/05/24 and they invited me to first stage interview on 05/06/24. My interview was on 13/06/24. I then received an AC invite on 26/06/24. My AC is on 04/07/24! Hope this helps with timelines and what to expect!Anyone who did Withers’ VI and hasn’t heard - are you assuming PFO seeing as they’ve already been interviewing? I only submitted my test last Monday - but clearly they move quick!
Still waiting on RPCAnyone heard from RPC or Birketts?
Hey, I know exactly how you feel as starting my TC later sounds so daunting and depressing. What really helps me is setting myself clear deadlines and actually sticking to them. So for example, I will write and send off X number of apps in 2 weeks and then give myself a guilt-free break & freedom (even if it is just for a week lol). But ultimately if you’re really struggling then I think it’s important to prioritise your mental health, no matter how hard that might be. My DMs are open if you ever need a chat❤️At this point the rejections are ruining my mental health, at what point do I give up? Taking a break isn’t really an option because starting years later than I want to is even more depressing
NopeAnyone heard back post app from Denton yet?

I tend to not do them anymore - it is a real shift in the last 5 years or so, and mostly driven from the pandemic although there are various groups of people who don't do handshakes too so its become more of a consideration for those who don't. So I wouldn't worry if you are not seen to instigate one - your interviewers are more likely to do so if they feel it is appropriate and even if that is the case, if you are someone who doesn't shake hands you can explain this.what is the protocol with handshakes in in person interviews these days? haven't done an in person one before (ACs were virtual and Ive done only VIs before). if they do not initiate a handshake is it polite to do so or no longer the norm? are there any other changes post pandemic to be aware of in terms of decorum? @Jessica Booker @axelbeugre thank you!
