Hey Guest, do you have a question for graduate recruitment? Gemma Baker from Willkie is live to answer your questions!
Post WG, do they read your app again? And how did you perform in their WG?my bad forgot to say when I saw earlier -- I got an offer last Thursday and ik about 5 others who have got offers -- 4 of them are ppl I did spring scheme w last year and another is through someone who private messaged me on here
I’m sorry to hear that! How did you score if you don’t mind sharing?Hi guys, just to those who have been rejected by Freshfields, I emailed them yesterday asking for my WG test score and they responded with percentile this morning! I did way better than I thought but was still rejected :/
I'm still waiting and I applied on the 19th 😅Mishcon VI invite, wont be doing that for a couple days as I feel like death.
Also how quickly did people get the test for Gateley?
Same! I've gotten some good insight but if anyone else has any that would be really appreciated!!Might anyone who's done a Latham & Watkins AC recently be willing to get in touch with me? I'll be so so immensely grateful
Pretty sure you can re-record as many times as necessary with V&E, well at least that used to be the case...Is anybody able to provide some insight into the V&E VI? I can provide some insights into Latham’s AC
Just one re-record nowPretty sure you can re-record as many times as necessary with V&E, well at least that used to be the case...
Hi @Jessica Booker, when you worked at Freshfields did they have a fixed pass rate for their WG or was it based on candidates' percentile? It’s a long time ago now, but there tended to be a good number of people recruited from the open days when I worked at the firm.
It was by no means a guarantee though - I saw enough open day attendees apply and unfortunately their application was not strong enough when translated to the personal statement format and when presented in a different way to the open day application.
The firm would generally look out for open day attendee’s applications though and hope to put them through, especially if they impressed at the open day itself, but there were no favours done - the individuals still had to meet the same benchmark as other candidates
why this firm/ why would you be good for this firm? why would you be a good lawyer? tell me about a time when you demonstrated [insert firm's desired character trait/ competency]Does anyone have a list of questions that usually come up in a video interview?
