@Jessica Booker I've just submitted the Freshfields written assessment, and realised immediately after submission that I'd missed something obvious, and made a couple of errors. Do you recall how forgiving FFs are for the assessment (i.e. do successful applicants typically have stellar written assessments, or generally are they a tad imperfect but not terrible)?

I know what's done is done etc, just trying to put my mind at ease/evaluate my chances 😅

I did the written assessment this time last year, and in the feedback call the GR rep mentioned that there is a threshold, I can't remember how high it was exactly, but it was very reasonable, so I wouldn't worry! I'm sure you'll be fine

The assessment is not going to be determined purely by a couple of errors, as there will be multiple aspects that are assessed. I would just wait to hear back rather than trying to work out the “what ifs” because they are impossible to know

Hi guys, I just want to ask, when applying for a VS, it asks the screening question: "Do you require a permit to work in the UK?" Does this screening question concern the VS itself or the TC that comes after the VS?

It will apply to the vacancy you are applying to, but if this included being converted to a TC at a later date I would include this too.

I think this will be 23.59 tomorrow. It would be pretty weird for them to close on a Saturday evening - if you were going to close on a weekend, you might as well do it on a Sunday.

I think the test just testing your behaviour, because most of the parts were SJT, and the last part was similar to WG. So just be yourself is ok

Ah, thank you! I've accidentally put on 2 or 3 apps that I need one 😅 Are Grad Rec typically quick to respond if I email them about the mistake and would it adversely impact my chances of proceeding with the application?

I had my interview with Slaughters this week and the partner interviewing told me that it's highly competitive with only a very small cohort for summer work experience. The senior assoc. in the interview also said not to worry because she got rejected for summers but got the TC there. But would be interested in stats.
