Nah lol, I was aware of it but didnt really consider it as self funding isnt an option for me and a slight uncertainty over NQ positions.Bro are you living under a rock
i meant in terms of receiving the online assessmentThere deadline is in January lol
It'll take a week to receive iti meant in terms of receiving the online assessment
Me! Have they sent you any further details yet? I was just asked to fill up a form, conscious it’s next week and I didn’t hear from them yet….Anyone else on here who'll be going to the Latham & Watkins open day on the 24th?
Agree with the uncertainty of NQ positions since most firms still offer training contracts. So I’d assume such NQ roles would go to the ones that have undergone training as trainee solicitors but not sure. There doesn’t seem to be much information on itNah lol, I was aware of it but didnt really consider it as self funding isnt an option for me and a slight uncertainty over NQ positions.
I did! I just completed it again and sent an email to GR.For NRF, did any receive an e-mail prompting them to complete the RARE data form today, but who have already completed it?
I got an invite yesterday to do an online assessmentHas anyone applied to Mills & Reeve? If so, any updates from them?
I have! They sent me their online assessments on MondayHas anyone applied to Mills & Reeve? If so, any updates from them?
Yeah, does seem to just push the competitivenesss of TC roles to now NQ roles, there will be lots of people with 'cobbled' together experiences passing as qualified, which is completely fair as the work is valid, but qualifying into a practice area you've trained in with the firm may well give you the advantage over the qualified paralegals when getting an NQ role.Agree with the uncertainty of NQ positions since most firms still offer training contracts. I wouldn’t expect a firm to invite 100 candidates for one vacation scheme, that is probably only 20 or so people max. That is an exceptionally high ratio, especially for a vacation scheme.Officials
even so, they should realistically have way more than just 2? Unless theres like 50+ people ok each AC?
No - I would write in full sentences/paragraphs for this type of question. When a firm asks you to "outline" something (eg. why you are interested in a particular commercial topic), is it ok to have the response in succinct bullet points instead of a paragraph?
