Trainees will typically complete at least one seat in the commercial team (one of their largest departments) and commonly IP. A contentious seat is mandatory. Seat options will also include corporate, regulatory & competition, finance, construction & real estate, employment and few others.Does anyone know what the seat options are during a TC at 2Birds? I can't find it anywhere on their website and graduate recruitment aren't responding.
I'm especially wondering whether there are mandatory seats and/or TMT option.
@Ali A will be able to guide you.Does anyone have previous experience with W&C VI? If so what type of questions do they ask you and how long can your answers be?
Did you apply for the Winter VS?Does anyone have previous experience with W&C VI? If so what type of questions do they ask you and how long can your answers be?
hey, thanks for the tip but how do you suppose we can check this? wouldn't it be internal data of the firm, cus I don't remember seeing any firm that publishes such data (unless I am missing something). I have only seen data on retention rates. My advice if you are applying for vacation schemes - check the VS to TC conversion rate.
A lot of firms have incredibly low ratios, making it really difficult to convert - even if you are a great candidate (often US firms). In contrast, some firms (example: MC, CMS, DLA, Eversheds, Dentons etc.) almost guarantee a TC if you get the VS.
Failing to convert a VS can be really disappointing, especially when you put in your best effort. That is why I would recommend sending your strongest applications to firms that have a higher conversion rate.
I haven'tWhen did you complete arctic shore if you dont mind me asking?
i got two competency questions and one firm-related motivational question earlier this year. i remember it was 15s prep then 2min or 1min30s to answer?Does anyone have previous experience with W&C VI? If so what type of questions do they ask you and how long can your answers be?
Agreed, it would be good if there was a breakdown somewhere with this data (although the list of firms provided earlier was good). Does anyone also have an insight into what the conversion process is like for different firms. I.e. post vac scheme interviews/feedback from your supervisors, or do some VS just fast track you to a TC AC (in which case is it really worth it if one can also do a direct TC application)?hey, thanks for the tip but how do you suppose we can check this? wouldn't it be internal data of the firm, cus I don't remember seeing any firm that publishes such data (unless I am missing something). Thank you so much! There is a really really good guide video on YouTube by YOUinConsulting that helped me prep for it... Ended up getting 93rd percentile so really recommend it!

This is so weird! Can anyone clarify?NRF is being really weird and inconsistent, some people are getting the AS and WG and some people only WG or only AS. No idea why.
Yes!Did you apply for the Winter VS?
