How long did it typically take for people to get their WG link after submitting their DLA Piper application?

Took me around 5 days, but grad rec have said in their events that they only send out the links on Fridays

Just completed Simmons' verbal and logical tests and let me tell you it was almost a surreal experience, I genuinely cannot tell you what happened during that test. I feel like I had no idea what was going on despite having done multiple practices and scoring above average on the practice tests available from the platform's site. I would honestly say anybody doing it should have no expectations of themselves because its genuinely an experience like no other. The final question I had on the verbal was so long I almost died. I would say from reading comments on the forum it's almost impossible to gauge how you've done so I'm not stressed but thought I might share my experience.

Same, especially the logical reasoning one - tbh half the time I had no idea what I was doing matching up the symbols

I attended a virtual event today on HSF’s disputes practice and the grad rec said they aren’t reviewing apps on a rolling basis. This confused me a little as it says online that they do but thought I would mention this for anyone waiting!

Seems as though Latham have a behavioural/SJT assessment now? I just got invited to one, applied 27th sept- assuming it's automatic?

I met an associate and a trainee from a firm im applying to at a work lunch. We spoke about the firm and they knew I had applied to law firms previously. Of course this interaction gave me an interesting insight into the firm and has led me to apply but I’m wary of naming them in the cover letter? Does any one have advice about what to do in this case?

You can drop them a message on Linkedin asking them if they don't mind, or just refer to them as "associate" and "trainee".

I got this too! Although there's nothing on this on their website or online when talking about the application process so I'm not sure what to expect 😬
