Honestly I had a quick little cry while deciding if I could actually go through the 10-4 AC today but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity! I truly thank coffee, paracetamol and adrenaline for giving me the energy to push through lol!Goodness me, when I had Covid (couple of weeks ago) struggled with a simple shower!
Hi @amzey2, I would not worry about legal citations in a written exercise like this! Remember that these exercises are geared to law and non-law students alike so outside knowledge is not expected and it is really fair game to incorporate the information they give you in any way that is clear and concise (you do not need to use any official format). Your approach sounds absolutely fine, though!Hi everyone! Was wondering whether anybody could share some insights as to White & Case’s Written Exercise. Particularly, should we be using any sort of citations (if the relevant pieces of law is provided) and should we be actually formatting it as an official legal memo (i.e, Question Presented, Short Answer, Statement of Facts etc)?
This combination of substances reminds me of when I was abroad and had to do an AC from 1am to 6am 🤣Honestly I had a quick little cry while deciding if I could actually go through the 10-4 AC today but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity! (You will have the opposite result I am sure!)The sad part which makes my story way less cool is that I was unsuccessful 🤣
Hopefully! But in all honesty, even if it was unsuccessful I am just so happy that I did it plus it was quite fun as far as assessments go!(You will have the opposite result I am sure!)
This is a winner's mindset! If you can see the enjoyable side of every interview and see it as an investment in yourself, then even when you are unsuccessful you are spurred onto the next - I am sure that we will be congratulating you on your TC offer very soonHopefully! But in all honesty, even if it was unsuccessful I am just so happy that I did it plus it was quite fun as far as assessments go!
It was 3 days 2 days virtual and 1 day in person xEven the £175 probably isn't legal. Minimum wage would be over £300 a week (assuming it was a full-time role for 5 days a week).
Around 6 weeks so I really wouldn’t worry! XEveryone who did the Mayer Brown AC - how long did grad recruitment take to invite you to AC post-VI and written exercise? It's been over a week for me and I'm not sure if I should just email to get my PFO.........
