White & Case video interview!! Does anyone have any tips on how to tackle this/how best to prepare? This is my first video interview so I’m not really sure what to expect!
Yes, they offer training contracts indeed. Applications open around September and close in Novemberwould anyone know if there is a law training contract at EY? and also since EY i.e. one of the big 4 is a professional services firm, am i right in thinking that you would not classify this as in-house?
Yes there is a training contract. They had been recruiting for a 2022 direct tc and then a summer vac scheme with a 2023 tc but the applications are closed nowwould anyone know if there is a law training contract at EY? and also since EY i.e. one of the big 4 is a professional services firm, am i right in thinking that you would not classify this as in-house?
Yea I've got an AC on Friday, heard last week. I remember last year they took ages to get back to me and i got a PFO so. Which office ?? (I'm London)
Yeah I have applied. Just don't hold out a lot of hope haha!Honestly though I spoke with a couple folks at Sidley recently and they're lovely, it's a great firm I'd give it a shot no matter what.
Thank you for this.Generally, I would expect this low a percentile to be unsuccessful.
Congratulations! 🥳 May I ask when you applied?White & Case video interview!! Does anyone have any tips on how to tackle this/how best to prepare? This is my first video interview so I’m not really sure what to expect!
Ah i see thank you for this info! Im getting a tad confused looking online as to how they name or classify their training programme - would you happen to have a link to the tc description where i could read more about it? (i note that you mentioned dates are closed now, but would be good to learn more!)Yes there is a training contract. Just had the same email and came on here to check - also unsure!Hi everyone. I have just been asked to partake in a psychometric assessment for Pinsent Masons (I applied to the Manchester office). It says 'based on the application you have made...'. Does anyone know if this is automated, or if this means my application was successful? Thanks
After the deadline, we’ll review all applications and if you’re one of the ones who best meets our requirements, we’ll ask you to take an online psychometric assessment. This is from their website.Just had the same email and came on here to check - also unsure!

Don't think its automated. Asked a friend earlier this week who works for Pinsent Masons and he said we should all be hearing quite soon from them, like in the next couple of weeks sort of thing.Hi everyone. Hey, thanks for the response! May be completely wrong here, but ive always been a bit confused on this point and i probably should get this sorted in my mind for the future - I sort of thought that in-house would be when you are working within a company, assisting that company with their internal legal matters. Wouldnt working in EY be more akin to working in private practice as you assist external clients in matters brought to the firm? Not sure if they have training contracts but it would still be in-house by virtue of not being a firm or government legal scheme.
Hii I did my W&C VI a few days ago- it was honestly fine, pretty simple & basic questions so don’t over prepare. Mostly just know about the firm and think of answers to competency questions and you should be fine! It’s also only 3 questions so very quick to complete. I didn’t have any commercial awareness questions either.White & Case video interview!! Does anyone have any tips on how to tackle this/how best to prepare?
