Fieldfisher TC PFO, applied 12 Dec
I wouldn’t put your A-level or university grades there unfortunately. I would contact the firm and see what they advise, as it maybe that if you haven’t done the PGDL or SQE they can’t consider you.For Clyde & Co Middle East TC, there doesn't seem to be any space to input A level and University grades.
The form only has 2 text boxes asking about PGDL and SQE grades (which I haven't completed), with no option to add any more text boxes. Should I just write my A level and University grades there?
@Jessica Booker
Sorry to hear that. Can I ask what stage you're currently at (undergraduate, postgraduate, paralegal etc)Fieldfisher TC PFO, applied 12 Dec
Their website states: “our programme is open to both law and non-law students and graduates” so I’m a little confused but thank you, I will email the firmI wouldn’t put your A-level or university grades there unfortunately. Have you heard back from Bristows yet? I’m still waiting
Big congrats! When did you complete VI?CMS AC for London! Any insights would be very appreciated, as this is my first AC
Thank you so much! I completed it on the 2nd January, and wasn’t confident that it went well - definitely a sign not to lose hope if you think a VI didn’t go your way😊Big congrats! When did you complete VI?
You can just use a word document, don’t think you need for put your name as it gets uploaded with the rest of your appHi all, sorry for asking again but are we suppose to use a template for the personal statement portion of Freshfields' TC application, or is a simple word document with the question, applicant name and answer sufficient?
Thanks!You can just use a word document, don’t think you need for put your name as it gets uploaded with the rest of your app
I didn’t put the question, just went straight into the answer
Congratulations!!!! Huge achievement! This is fantastic! I shared some general tips here which might be helpful https://www.thecorporatelawacademy....ns-discussion-thread-2023-24.8037/post-151966CMS AC for London! Any insights would be very appreciated, as this is my first AC
I think you can but they might ask for proof so bear this in mind. If it only affected one exam, then I would not mention it if you do not have proof.Can we put down mitigating circumstances even if we haven't reported them officially to the university? I have never mentioned this on my applications because I didn't have it on my academic record, but I gave myself a second-degree burn before my final exam for a module and was sent by 111 to urgent care immediately after. I couldn't get a doctor's statement to make a claim in time, but I think it affected at least one of my exams.
Thank you so much! Really appreciate it😊Congratulations!!!! Huge achievement! This is fantastic! I shared some general tips here which might be helpful https://www.thecorporatelawacademy....ns-discussion-thread-2023-24.8037/post-151966
