There's no written questions in the application anymore. You do a very standard application with grades and work experience, then you get sent a link to a SJT and video interview questions. Should you be successful from there, then you have an assessment day :)
hi Laby, would you please kindly tell me when will you receive a link after you submitted your application? Thank you very much!

I totally understand where you are coming from but the graduate recruitment team have said it multiple times on each virtual event they've held. They also explained that it is the same questions they use to ask in the application form but have just switched to oral communication to prevent Chat GPT input.
It is fine if the firm themselves are promoting the video interview questions, and you are welcome to share these privately, but we ask that they are not shared on the forum as we have to apply the rules fairly across firms, and our stance is that specific video interview questions are not shared.

I have edited any posts that refer to the specific video interview questions.

For fairness of the process you should not say this. Just my view on this as am new on here so don't know if we are allowed to discuss it!
Questions should not be reveal on the forum, you can only discuss topics that came up though, and I do believe those are more than enough to clearly identify the questions!

Hello Everyone,

I have just re-read over my Clifford Chance application and realised that I accidentally put the wrong details into the wrong box for one of my work experience entries. I am obviously quite upset as I spent a lot of time on the application itself. Should I email the HR team and explain what has happened or will it have completely ruined my chances of getting an interview?

@Jessica Booker @Jaysen any thoughts on this?

Thanks :)

I would personally leave it now. I don’t think there is any benefit of making them aware of this as it does not change the fact that the error was made. Depending on how different the work experience entries are, it might be something that isn’t even noticed.

Does anyone know how long it takes Slaughter to get back to direct TC applicants post-interview?

Had the interview yesterday and it's the only thing on my mind now, the stress is worse than pre-interview ahhhh. Think I made some mistakes during the interview especially when the partners were grilling me I might have gotten too defensive of my opinion and did not engage in proper rebuttals relevant to the article and only went with logic and common sense. During the HR interview later I clarified that I noticed this was my mistake but idk how it will affect the overall outcome. Seriously can't stop overthinking it!

Is it normal for grad rec to not call during the agreed time slot for feedback call without any email or communication??
From experience this can happen a lot. All it take is for someone to contact them with an emergency/something important at the time they need to call you and the call doesn’t go ahead.

I would email them and ask if you can reschedule.

Hi, when I had mine HR said they get back to people within 1-2 weeks either by phone or email. I had my direct TC interview on a Monday and received an email that I was unsuccessful on Thursday the following week. Fingers crossed for you!!

Hi is anyone else not able to do the A&O SJT? It says that the server has an error and to try it on incognito mode for me...? But nothing is working :( So scared because deadline is tomorrow but I've been packed with work

Hi everyone. For the A&O SJT + VI, do we have the opportunity to view the two questions and prepare for them without a time limit? I know that it'll be a maximum of two minutes for each answer, but can I prepare for these questions without having to worry about the time?

    Thanks :)
