You're applying to the wrong firms. 😅Trainees, partners and associates when you ask about the work/life balance of a firm:
i am in the same boat for debevoise but i'm hoping they have more acs because surely they would have sent out the pfo by now wouldn't they? what do you think i'm actually so idekkkkkAnyone still waiting on MoFo or Debevoise post-app? It's been 3+ months since I applied so I'm assuming PFO, but has anyone heard?
*Also I'm aware debevoise are already doing ACs so presumably I have missed the boat?
hadn’t even received a vi, spring was my first choice (though it’s not clear to me whether they filter out candidates they like based on what vac scheme they had preference for)Im sorry please can I ask if this was for a summer vac scheme
Been to about 6 open days, all have said "yeah yeah its great" like a gun is behind their back aahahYou're applying to the wrong firms. 😅
I had the same feeling after my first AC last month too so you're definitely not alone ❤️ onwards and upwards!PFO post AC for RPC. My first AC and honestly surprised at how demoralised I feel

It’s scary to think 10 years ago, I helped design a brochure that had “some ruined Saturdays” and “late for dinner....(again)” on the front cover 😂Trainees, partners and associates when you ask about the work/life balance of a firm:
Thank you but it is what it is.Sorry to hear that, one of the worst feelings I know...
Yes VS and 15th January.Sorry to hear, I know how that feels. When did you apply? Is this for VS?

I'm so sorry if this is a bit of a ignorant question, but do direct TC applications differ significantly from VS applications? Does anyone know if they generally more/less competitive (I've heard both). I have a bit of legal experience (mostly volunteering in courts, some work-shadowing at an international firm) but am not sure if this will be enough for a TC application?
Crossing my fingers for you!! 🤞🏻Just finished Eversheds AC will hear back by Monday eek
