That’s wonderful. Did they say when they are likely to finish reviewing?WBD finally got back to me re additional information and said they'll attach my additional information to my application but cannot edit it, because it's under review.
Yay

No, and I thought it might not be best to ask in my reply to them (with them giving updates and all). That’s wonderful. Did they say when they are likely to finish reviewing?
They said end of the month so probably tomorrowNo, and I thought it might not be best to ask in my reply to them (with them giving updates and all).
Not confident about hearing back so soon though now they said my application is still under review!
Yeah same. Applied in October and got that naff email. Guess it was bulk sent because it started with "Dear Applicant"... charmingWinston & Strawn PFO post-app.
Thank you!! It was for Birmingham or London I think (I could not remember which office I put as my first choice lol)Congrats!!! Which office did yiu
congratulations!! Which office was this for?
Hopefully, I'm just surprised they'd get back to me and say they've added that info/my file was still under review if it was tomorrow. Maybe I'm just being too optimistic though! They said end of the month so probably tomorrow
2 days for the first round as wellI got just over 2 days notice for round 1 interview
Imagine we get another email on Thursday with an update... let’s stay optimistic! This thread will go crazy tomorrow if we all start getting feedback!!!Looks like everyone will be hearing back from WBD tmoro 😬 so exciting but nerve wrecking
I attended an open day thing with their grad rec. she said about 50/50Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't BCLP recruit the majority of their trainees from the VSs?
Interesting, it says 70-80% here, but I guess these things are never set in stone! https://www.chambersstudent.co.uk/bryan-cave-leighton-paisner/true-picture/27/1##bonusI attended an open day thing with their grad rec. she said about 50/50
I can't see why they wouldn't - I'm not sure I've come across a firm that bans you from applying just because you've not quite cut it at the final stage. They can't take everyone from the AC, and it's not like they've seen you over the 2 weeks of a VS. They probably have an official policy but it makes good sense for them to reconsider someone they've liked enough to interview, one year on. Maybe, if you don't get through the AC, the feedback they give might give you an idea of how far wide of the mark you were? But I'm only making a wild guess. Good for you for thinking ahead and going for the resilient option.I know it's really early to be thinking about this but does anyone know if Ropes & Gray let you reapply for a vacation scheme the next year if you were unsuccessful after their AC?
