am in the same positionHas anyone got any Ropes AC tips from previous years? Can’t find anythingggg about what their elevator pitch is about
Seems like it has more to do with the level of competition rather than your application tbh, don't be so hard on yourself!PFO post-app from AG london office ✌️✌️ got through to the AC for a direct training contract last year so I must have been tragically bad lololol
PFO from Simmons and Simmons Bristol - on to the next one!
I fully expect a PFO post VI for mine -> I didn't slip up or anything, but my answers to some of the questions were a little sus. Especially the one which asked for a fun fact about me.
I couldn't think of anything so I just blurted out something on the spot that is true but I wouldn't really consider job interview materialmy fun fact was “my fun fact about me is” followed by my eyes darting desperately around the room and then the recording stopped 😅😅
really hope they do. would love for them to see how far I've come since my previous shambolic apps :--)@Jessica Booker I've been wondering if firms ever compare your applications if you reapply? do they ever look to assess if you've developed/progressed since the previous cycle?
https://www.thecorporatelawacademy.com/175-training-contract-interview-questions-2/Wild one, but I'll put it out there for TCLA squad gang. I've got an interview with a small City based firm next week. I was wondering if there's a decent bundle of generic law interview questions that I can do some prep with over the week. I guess why law, why us, dealing with teams, difficult situations are standard but if there are any others, that would be fab.
I think the best prep is always to know my own experiences so I can respond to questions on the fly, but prep never hurts!
Exactly what I'm after! You're a star!
Congratulations!!! When did you do your telephone interview? I'm still waiting!!!MAYER BROWN AC THIS IS MY FIRST AC YAY I LOVE YOU ALL
