Very different topic but just saw this for University of Law which seems incredibly mean to require people who had been told exams would be online to move to face to face 2 weeks before the exam - this is from Reddit and people are complaining to UoL so perhaps the decision will be reversed. For...
The above is really helpful - thank you.
We did a google search for "BPP virtual learning environment" for one of my sons. Then logged in using his student registration number and his usual BPP password - I think he had to enter it twice and then found his timetable. I presume it is identical...
My lawyer daughter hired someone as a paralegal who had a very good TC with a big firm but had failed one exam so the TC was withdrawn. Not all firms do that. The person retook the exam and passed and later found a TC elsewhere so it was all fine in the end.
It will be fine. My sons both did the BPP PGDL last year. Once you have access to the BPP Hub the course structure should be reasonably clear from there and you can view the materials for each topic. From memory there are main topics in term one which practice/mock exams in about October and the...
One of my sons called BPP around 9am UK time this morning (Tuesday) about a timetable issue and was able to get through - I think he was on hold quite a while but did get through. Yesterday (Monday) was a bank holiday in the UK so if you were trying then that might be why you could not get through.
R203- from what you write above I think you must be registered. (My reference to an email "you are not registered" above was a typo - my son's email had said "you are NOW registered". I just don't know if everyone receives the same emails. Also you received the welcome to BPP with the student...
Update - other son has his timetable now too.
We looked in the box of physical materials one has received and checked it against the list in the box and there are 11 items but two are identical I think (at least on the front and back they look like they are ) both are "Property and practice...
[Update - it was just that that person wanted the part time LPC classes in the week not weekends and that option was not availlable so they are now doing it part time at weekends]
I agree with "R203" above. Just in case people are having problems to be able to access things check the following (which is probably already above on this thread but worth summarising). I believe this is necessary before accessing timetables etc :-
Check if you have "registered". On 30...
My son has had his timetable tonight too in the outlook 365 thing (full time London (Holborn) LPC). He had requested 2 long days and instead has 3 mornings a week starting 9am. I suspect that is easier to concentrate in being over 3 days rather than 2 very long days so I do not think that is a...
(By the way, this seems very unlikely, but my son said his friend was told in the last week that when the friend called BPP to ask why they had not heard about the part time LPC they were going to do that it has been cancelled due to lack of demand. I only heard that second hand but it seems...
Thanks although my son just received this message below from his query to BPP yesterday ... saying something different -
"Your timetable will be released next week. Unfortunately, we cannot provide it before this point. "
This suggests that session will be in person in that case so thanks for posting it ......"Only one of the sessions on my timetable ('Induction SGS') has a physical location on the calendar invite. There are no locations or links for the others so far." It would be very useful for everyone to...
On delivery of BPP materials: My son who had given his delivery address on The Hub has just now this morning received the materials in a big box (the company book will be coming separately). I think he confirmed his address on the hub on 24 August so only 2 days ago. His twin does not have...
I don't think it's made clear (although my sons don't have their timetables yet - but they do need to check that again to be sure as it is possible they are there now eg AOD above has the timetable). I suspect those first week sessions are online but I might be wrong. Possibly it is for...
My son received an email confirmation to his BPP email address that the law book had been shipped to arrive later in August - I presume it will come any day now from the book publishers (but nothing about the materials).
I am not sure if my other son has even completed the Hub task of giving...
I find it very useful having people respond here. Neither of my sons have received their BPP materials. That may be because only one has confirmed the home addresss on the hub although BPP has had the address in its records for ages. So it is useful to know you have had your BPP materials. As to...
That is very helpful. We just found what you quoted now too . A lot of what is there for my son does seem to relate to the September intake (the correct intake) but still seeing some August references. Each time we look we see more so may be we were missing things last time. We did see a few...
