Hey @hopefulforatc,
I can totally sympathise with you regarding how difficult the process especially as an international student. I think that this cycle has been very hard and very competitive so I would congratulate you for just applying to a lot of firms and give it a go. I am sure you have...
I would probably treat it as a normal law firm interview but I would try to be prepared on the programme and being very structured in your answer.
I think it would be also beneficial to emphasise the main differences between this programme and private practice, being very specific about your...
I personally do not think so, they are pretty much the same, I think that at interview stage though, you should be more prepared to be able to convince the interviewers as to why you want to join that firm specifically over others but that it just my opinion since I did not go through this route...
I personally always went straight into it. if they require an executive summary, they will explicitly ask you to write one so I personally would not worry about one and go straight into it.
It really depends on what kinds of exercise you are given in my opinion. I will share a couple of resources that were helpful to me in making understand how to write one:

Having said that every provider has positive and negative feedbacks...
Congratulations on obtaining a vacation scheme offer!!
I have written some tips in this post which could be helpful as a starting point:

I personally struggled a lot with them as well and found that I performed better with firms that did not require it. However, I spoke with friends that were successful in these kind of tests and the main thing that they highlighted was to make sure to be very familiar with the firm's values and...
This is firm specific so it is really difficult to tell, they usually send acceptances all at once but some firms do send them in batches too depending on the assessment centres dates so I would just wait for the result.
Good luck!
Congratulations!!!
I shared some tips on assessment centres in general which might be a starting point: https://www.thecorporatelawacademy.com/forum/threads/tcla-vacation-scheme-applications-discussion-thread-2023-24.8037/post-167210
I hope it is helpful and good luck!
I think it is all about perspective. It depends on how you look at it as lawyers would say. If you are focusing on capital markets, you would mention certain firms, if you are focusing on energy, ESG work, you would focus on other firms as competitors. The same goes for litigation or...
