Absolutely no idea, the only way you are going to know this is by talking to the firm and letting them know if the situation and asking if you can be considered for a direct TC .
This is going to vary from firm to firm - I had a VS I couldn't complete due to conflict of interest with my employer at the time. The firm in question only hired from VS so I couldn't be considered for a TC.
Off the top of my head - definitions, jurisdiction, governing law, term, termination rights, liability, warranties, indemnities, force majeure, payment terms/method, data protection, confidentiality, limitation period.
Well that brings all outstanding applications to close for me with a second vac scheme offer! Definitely going to celebrate this weekend as my LPC exams are over as well!
I made 5 applications this cycle, 2 direct TC 3 VS. I received 1 post VI PFO for a VS, 2 post final AC/Interview PFOs for...
I didn't have any society involvement whilst at university - I couldn't as I worked almost full time alongside a full time law degree.
I wouldn't get a term time job if the only reason is for VS apps, working alongside studying is hard and its likely your studying would suffer. You could...
Hey - this is just my opinion and I’m welcome to others with more experience but I don’t think it’s the job title that matters with experience. a lot of people seem to think it’s having the title paralegal that’s counts but honestly paralegal can mean so many different things to different...
Honestly it is so so hard to judge your own interview performance, short of an absolute catastrophe occurring to make it obvious that it did not go well at all. Most people tend to judge themselves much harsher than those interviewing them. Things you might dwell over the interviewer may have...
It’s really tough getting rejected after interview - I find those hurt more than a post application or tests PFO.
However the fact you got to interview with three firms is huge so be proud of that. And if you did it this cycle you can do it again next cycle but with all the knowledge of what an...
Heard back just over a week after the AC. It really varies though I know last year some people heard back a couple days later some after all ACs for offers.
What impresses me most about this is having the time to manage 7+ applications in the same cycle 😂 I managed 5 this cycle and that’s the most I’ve ever found time to do and 4 of those were started and finished on the deadline day.
Not answering your question but I think this really highlights how different each university is in regards to grading etc. at my undergrad university (non RG LLB) doing that would’ve resulted in a fail for not meeting the assessment objectives. We had to be within 10% of the word count.
I get it the waiting is awful. I’m almost glad to be in the middle of exam hell so I don’t have time to worry about the waiting!
Mine was for London.
Hope it’s good news for you when you get the outcome!
Nope, mine was last Wednesday and nothing. which office did you apply for?
After stage one everyone successful heard back the day after the last AC and they have ACs for other offices until Thursday this week, someone else who had a VS AC asked when we’d hear back and was told it would be this...
