and the audacity to say that it would take approx. 60 minutes is just bizarre...SJT + some WG style questions + long attention to detail test (detecting spelling and grammar mistakes). It’s just long.

I’m really sorry this happened, I hope you get an amazing firm very soon!
I'm so sorry to hear that. Their application was so long too they had so many questions, it sucks when you put so much time into an application for them to hit you back with generic feedback that doesn't apply to you. It seems like you are a great candidate I hope you get an offer from a firm that you want to work at soon.
I’m really sorry to hear this! 😕
Just know that rejection is redirection and that the right firm for you will see all your achievements and potential and offer you that well deserved TC!! 🙂
Best of luck with the remainder of this application cycle! Don’t give up on yourself! 🙂
Thank you all for your support and kind encouragement. Rejection is a natural part of the process, and it's important to keep pushing forward. I was genuinely disappointed, but your words mean a lot to me ☺️Don't feel too disheartened! W&C recieve over 4k applications each cycle, there's plenty of people in the exact same position who are adequately qualified but for whatever reason overlooked! Don't forget that there isn't a formula for success in these things, they're never for granted. In fact, a lot of these things come down to getting axed by an AI bot that flagged a gramatical error and due to the volume of applicants your application never actually gets read by recruitment. Especially at W&C, rolling applications add a level of uncertainty because you don't know the quality of the other 3,999 applicants. Luckily, a post app pfo means you can likely apply again with a more refined and possibly improved application. Keep your head up, rejection is sometimes redirection, W&C aren't the only firm out there doing what they do!
Does anyone know how long CRS takes to get back after the deadline.
Ahhh got it. Thanks a lot!!I did mine yesterday afternoon and haven’t received a feedback report or an email confirming whether I reached the benchmark or not. The email does say we should hear back by Thursday next week. Best of luck!
All the best, you will be great!!Still got to do mine today! Wish me luck.
I definitely agree, with a slight caveat. The really quick auto rejections for grammatical errors and sub par academic achievement without mitigating circumstances give an idea of which firms are more heavily reliant on AI use. Not to say the applicant I was responding to necessarily falls into either of these categories, just wanted to provide some reassurance as to a possibility is all.I strongly suspect W&C are manually screening applications rather than being axed by an AI bot (same for most law firms). I think there is often a misunderstanding of how AI is being used in recruitment, and also how heavily it is relied on. Firms are reluctant to use it when there is some evidence to say algorithms may not help with screening effectively, especially when it comes to biases. It can also create more "cookie cutter" outcomes rather than diverse hiring.
wait, did they call to tell you you've been shortlisted? when was your AC and what does that entail?Guys really need help.
Has anyone ever known of anyone who’s been shortlisted after HSF ac? If so what was the outcome?
No basically they sent an email saying they will get back to me in 2 weeks as they want to consider other candidates too.wait, did they call to tell you you've been shortlisted? when was your AC and what does that entail?
Ah, you must've done well though! Never heard they shortlisted anyone before. I had my AC yesterday and quite nervous! I thought it went well but no call so far :/No basically they sent an email saying they will get back to me in 2 weeks as they want to consider other candidates too.
But I know people on my AC who got offers and rejections. AC was 20th
