Thank you for this. It makes sense then.I doubt that. It is probably just a section of their application to confirm the non law grads, especially with everything that is going on with the SQE transition

I have, not heard anything back yet though but they only closed a few weeks ago.Anyone applied to RPC for a direct TC?
Is there any point in me applying to the Baker McKenzie direct TC? I know they are rolling basis and applications close on 1st April so was just seeing what people think?
Thanks for this! I think you're right and there's no harm in sending it off so I'll give it a goGrad Rec did a talk with Vantage on their live (it's still up on their insta). They said they are still reviewing applications, and will continue to do so for applications submitted up until the deadline. It can't hurt to submit the application asap, you only miss 100% of the chances you don't take! (Also from my understanding, a lot of people haven't heard back yet anyway!)
I applied to RPC for the Bristol 2023 TC and was asked to take their VRT. I haven't heard anything since completing it.Anyone applied to RPC for a direct TC?

Hi everyone, I was wondering what people's thoughts were on virtual work experience schemes hosted by firms on platforms like Forage? Do companies take these seriously as legal work experience? In your application, are they worth including in the work experience sections and treating them like normal work experience?
Ah okay excellent, thank you! Yeah as a career changer, it could certainly be useful bolstering my evidence of dedication to Law.I feel like a lot of my information lately has come from the two Vantage lives I've watched haha..
Bakers did mention it's definitely still useful to put it down in their other work experience section, as it still shows your interest and dedication, and is also useful for those who haven't had formal work experience.
I know Bakers only allows you to put 6 experiences, so in that case they said putting it in the other section would be better than leaving out another job, and she said it's fine for others to weave it into a why law/why the firm question. Hope this helps!
I've only applied to RPC so far. Good luck with your app!Ok thank you. I am in the process of applying for the London 2023 TC. Appreciate the update! How are you getting on with other apps?
