    So inspiring! Congrats Lottie! I also go into AC’s with the same ‘I can impress better in person than on paper’ but then it backfires when I try my best not to melt in my interview chair from fear/anxiety/lack of confidence, any tips?

    Scheme is opened aswell, but I think second year law students/final year non- law students are only eligible (this was the case last year), you can always email HR to confirm. CC recruit for training contracts once a year and do not have a deadline for the 31st July.

    'Why commercial law?'

    Completely agree 100%!!! The application answers then become a lot more genuine and persuasive because you have an ACTUAL reason backed up with evidence which the recruiters 99.9% of the time are conviced by!

    How important are grades for law firms?

    I echo the above! Your extra curricular and work experiences outweigh your low 2:1 grades in my opinion. To give you some comfort, I got 2:2’s in two modules and still interviewed at MC and US firms, it’s nooo biggie! They may ask you about it so always be prepared ;)
