    I interviewed with a firm for a WVS two weeks ago tomorrow and still haven't heard back. I followed up politely with grad recruitment yesterday, but to no avail. Anyone else in this boat / has any firm ever taken this long to get back to someone or can I consider it a ghost?

    They're a really nice mid-sized firm and have good culture and I have met some people that worked there and moved to larger firms (particularly from the funds team). I interviewed with them a while ago and will say that their pay (at trainee level and for associates) is not very competitive IMO.

Perhaps also worth adding that in a PE context, the Target or the key operating company in the Target's structure would then be known as a portfolio company of the PE sponsor (firm) that acquired it. It's useful to think of this in terms of structure charts too...
