    General Discussion Thread 2020-21

Has anybody else had an email from NRF inviting them to apply for a 2023 training contract? My application for a 2022 TC was not reviewed because of the disruption surrounding second-semester grades & covid. Has anybody been successful in their application to NRF and have any tips? I’m checking my emails constantly for an update. Perhaps there is a problem with the software they use? Still doesn’t explain why no email updating us on what’s happening. Open Days/Networking Events - My Recommendations & Strategy

The email definitely said we would hear back no later than the 7th September. I agree- the weekend is unlikely! I’ve seen quite a few posts about BM open day and if people have heard back so I don’t think I am the only one who hasn’t heard anything!:)

Stephenson Harwood rejection! Truly gutted as I thought this was a strong application and I put so much energy into finding out about the firm and it’s specialisms. Onwards and upwards I guess :(

Did your rejection email talk about taking an unsuccessful copy to your careers advisor to see what went wrong? I have never had that in a rejection email before!
