If I applied to a firm last year and got progressed past application stage should I start this years application completely from scratch? I've updated it a fair amount and redrafted all the work experiences etc. but 2 of my 3 motivations for applying to the firm remain the same.
for the HSF app where it says 'introduce us to a topic you know about and why it interests you' what kind of thing would I include here, it sounds stupid but I've forgotten all my interests lol
such a stupid question - HSF ask what year you did your university modules i.e. 2017,2018,2019 etc do I put when I started it or when I finished because technically it's different?
I wonder if A&O are adopting the same system as previous years - where your application will only be reviewed if you've passed the SJT? This year I haven't even had an acknowledgment of my SJT being completed never mind an outcome
Evening all,
I have just attended a really great webinar (with General Assembly), focussing on high performance and failure. I thought considering how tough the process has been I might share some of the points that were shared, just in case they might help anyone.
We are what we do...
I've never had to submit a CV for a TC application before and I was wondering if I could get some advice.

Ahhh this is amazing! Thank you! I feel like I syke myself out for absolutely no reason, but the WG is deffo a...
BCLP have got two situational questions - I'm just wondering how to approach these.
1. In your first 3 months as a trainee at BCLP, who would you seek to build relationships with, and what strategies would you implement to ensure that these relationships are long lasting? (300 words)
2...
I did the TI so I can give some insight,
It was a typical phone interview, they seemed really nice and generally questions were expected considering the nature of the firm.
I really wouldn't over think it. I didn't pass and I genuinely think it's because I wasn't very conversational because I...
Bakers WG is timed from what I remember but I don’t think they time the instructions. It was very similar to NRFs when I did it earlier this year. From what I’ve been told they have a relatively fair benchmark - personally I’ve passed their WG twice and I’m not the most confident on it.
