I second this—I used to also score below the benchmarks but have passed a few by trying to understand the underlying logic for the correct answer. Most firms also tend to use similar/same questions, so once you pass one, I reckon it'll be easier to pass others.
I think the rest of the MC do have a healthy intake of direct TC applicants, but Linklaters and A&O Shearman don't based on my interactions with the firm.
You can but you won't be able to retake the WG & CAPP test. For the direct TC, graduate recruitment mentioned during the Legal Cheek fair that you need to have substantial legal experience (they focus mostly on people with paralegal experience, not compliance etc), as they only offer a handful...
Ahh fair enough, apologies for the misunderstanding! I've seen people with AC's + WVS offers already, so I'm 80% certain they're being heartless and dragging the process out
Has anyone heard anything post-AC from W&C WVS? The wait is killing me, not sure how much longer I can wait for.
I know they're still sending out VI's / AC's but it would be great to know what the typical turnaround time is (if there is one)?
