I've just been invited to the Fladgate AC! This is my first cycle so it feels nice to have one in the diary and definitely takes the (slightly insane) pressure off a touch going forward.
Did the VR/SJT on the 2nd of this month. I scored average for everything in VR except Comprehension and Interpretation where I scored above average - seemed a bit of a disappointing result to me overall. Top strengths were learning agility, resilience, and attention to detail.
I applied on the 12th of Jan, got the email about them looking forward to reading my cover letter on the 26th, and silence since. Assuming a PFO at this point for the sake of my own happiness.
Honestly I think there's little value in these feedback reports from firms in general, but I do think the thing about "if you got right or left you just exhibit that quality a little differently from everyone else" was extra useless. Like, is that good? Is that bad? Definitely wouldn't assume...
I am furiously refreshing my inbox after all of the Baker McKenzie/W&C/CRS responses - surely after 5 on a Friday is the cruellest time to send out a PFO?
Also PFOs from both Farrer and Jones Day today - I've had decent success passing the application stage recently so I was asking to get knocked down a peg or two sooner or later!
Not that helpful but I sent my application to them earlier this month and got an invite to the online assessment a handful of days later so they either send them out on a rolling basis or send them to everyone who applies.
