In cross border M&A, would it be correct to say that whilst the main acquisition documents might be goverened by England & Wales Law, the aspects relating to a business's operation in country X could be governed in that country's laws? Or would they all be under E+W?

Yes, they cancelled the Vac Scheme this year. They don't normally hire from direct TC's anyway and doubt it will be any different this year - especially if the c.10 they have offered TCs to accept.
This is true - I believe there's like four-six people interviewed every week at each stage
I guess you could say it is more personal? Prefer that to being one of 25-30 at an assessment day, even if it means waiting a little longer? That's my view anyway
I'm really confused as well as it says explictly that they "will not enforce a formal dress code policy and this will be left to your discretion" - I was going to go with a smart shirt but not sure if this is too casual??
Nah sadly not -- the sad thing was they said if I had applied earlier because of the competition I would have been given an offer as was on the borderline :( sad but a good experience!
