They get one application review per month. This rolls over so say if you buy now and wanted to wait for your app reviews until December, you would have 4 :)- Nicole

Abbreviating firm names
Great question! Personally, I would abbreviate longer names e.g. "Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer" to just "Freshfields" or "Norton Rose Fulbright to just "Norton Rose" but I never did initials. That was just for me though, I'm not too sure whether law firms would have a problem with it - as...- Nicole

Cover letter conundrum
I've often wondered if this was a game from Slaughters (not really, but still!). The website is so clear that the cover letter should be brief and yet I've met many students who have been told to write a few paragaphs. And then the opposite from other students!- Nicole

For your first question - are you referring to a law internship? I think you can, but it's better to use extra-curricular activities. It's an opportunity to sell your personality/hobbies/experiences as a reason to pick you. And using a vacation scheme or legal work experience wouldn't do a...- Nicole
