I got rejected for a Reed Smith summer vac scheme today after the tests so hopefully you guys get better news from them! Not that disappointed after getting through with Travers and GD and not sure I'm that interested in them as a firm on reflection but there we go!- Daniel Boden

I applied in October but they've only been reviewing apps following the December open day! I also think that they're only responding to people who are available to interview at certain times i.e. there's a section on the form at the beginning that asks you to list dates you're not available to...- Daniel Boden

Haha I do not disagree at all, apparently maternity leave has hit them pretty hard the last couple of years but then as you say, surely you just hire more people??? Guess GradRec is a lower priority there than most other firms...- Daniel Boden

In Travers' defence, they are a 3 person team who reads over 2,000 applications per year for vac schemes and TCs... that said, every other firm seems to manage to at least give you an update and run ACs in January etc. ...- Daniel Boden
