I'd also add that this won't be literally the same as your last experience with the firm, you might well gain insight into other departments or aspects. The content and the people involved don't work on 'repeat'. You will undoubtedly end up with more of an idea if they are a good fit for you...
Analysis Of The Week: Only Fans

The Story
“When Beyoncé rapped about us on the ‘Savage Remix’ and Cardi B joined the platform, that’s when we really started to see the growth accelerate,” entrepreneur Tim Stokely told Bloomberg in December 2020 of OnlyFans, the...
Hang on in there. The right firm will find you! But you have to find them first. And if you are too old in your 30s then there are quite a few of us who look like write-offs when we are not. I've managed to secure several rejections (it's a numbers game!) and - rather more pleasingly - a vac...
If anyone is interested in hearing a really accessible journalism point of view on this story, there is an excellent podcast series on BBC sounds. The journalist who put it together has been working on it for around a decade after a chance encounter with a cab driver whose pregnant wife, he...

It’s being called “the most widespread miscarriage of justice in British legal history”. Hundreds of Post Office branch managers “found themselves with a criminal record, bankrupted or imprisoned –...
I'm not Daniel (obv) @Daniel Boden BUT Tapiwa said in one of the final eps that he was off to do a PhD or similar. I bet it took up half his week, producing such detailed content. So RIP that for the moment... having said that, the older episodes are well worth a listen - they are so in-depth...

Maybe try Lawyers on Demand, Stephen James Partnership and Evolution Law? Also applying through LinkedIn is not a waste of time, though you do need to be ready and apply as soon as you can. I've not had any luck with Flex but they do have monthly networking lunches which are free and...
This depends on the question. Are they asking you to identify an actual business? Or an area? You might need to know why they aren't a client already - bad blood? Loyal to someone else? A new area for the firm? A fledgling company?
Thinking as I write, you might be wise to look at a...
It's great you are reflecting on this. I'd definitely recommend a 'year out' - as long as you use it wisely. The other thing to realise is that the timing on VS applications is tight and you won't, for instance, find it so easy to spend the full year abroad. It may take a few cycles to get a TC...
I'd say it's well worth paying for Watson's Daily - he does a great job of giving a really broad, accessible overview and it saves you a ton of time. See other comments above (eg @ZaraB) too. Also, if you are anything like me, once you are paying you will probably engage better.
Podcasts! Wake Up To Money; FT New Briefing; Economist similar; BBC Business Matters; Watson's Daily; Five Thirty-Eight... also Lexology for more reading material. Hope that helps and I bet there will be a thread on here somewhere for Commercial Awareness podcasts etc?
Plus some firms have...

Again, a clear policy.
Probably easiest to just ask them. It will be something they have a policy on. And hey, if they don't want you, you don't want them. Let us know?
