Did SQE at the large centre at Shadwell- Tobacco docks. Was all SQE, the large nature means it was well run and you could meet some new people (and easy to get to) rather than sharing a driving theory centre with people doing 40 minute tests!
Paralegals are generally hired quickly and cheaply, by only taking those with TCs they outsource the quality check part of the recruitment process and can hire on FTCs / for a defined length of time without upsetting either party. Not saying I agree with it, but you can understand why they do it

It is the same material but the classes are split online and in person, so online everyone would be online if that makes sense. It would be say breakout rooms on teams rather than discussing stuff at a table

I would just do an SQE prep course then. If you have a law degree recently and you can study full time 10 weeks is probably enough but it will be rough. If you could do 20 weeks the learning would be easier but you need to look at how the dates work out, particularly given how long results for...
A good way to get an insight is to look at profiles of associates on the websites (most people don’t list trainees). It will often detail where they went to university and if they trained at the firm.
