Do you include Open Days within the Work Experience section? Also, I struggle to fulfil the 250 words maximum on the work experience section - should I worry about that?

Yes and no to keep it simple - always put Open Days within the Work Experience section unless the form tells you otherwise!

    1. If you have attended a number of open days, group them together as one entry instead of multiple. Avoid making your application too dense.

    2. Focus on the understanding you have obtained about how international/national/regional firms operate through your discussion with partners.

    3. If you have attended open days on specific themes - diversity, technology etc - use that experience to highlight how this developed your interest in this area. You could then connect that to the firm and say that you are applying to them because the address these issues/factors.

    Hello,

I held a junior associate position in a law firm in my home country for several months. Even though I am not a qualified lawyer, there is no such restriction in my country on becoming even a partner for those who have never sat for the bar exam. Can I include this in the application form, or would it look like I am not being honest in the application?

If that is exactly the title you held, please feel free to include that in your application but do add a note if possible explaining that you are not qualified to practice in your home country.
