Hi I received a VI invite on Tuesday, and the deadline is within 5 days of receipt of the email. Does this mean I have to finish it tomorrow (Saturday)? Thank you!!
"Within 5 days" can mean different things for different firms, depending on whether they take a "day" to mean a full calendar day (which could or could not include Tuesday itself in the count) or simply a 24 hour period. My advice with these situations is to always err on the side of caution and complete it before the earliest potential deadline under any interpretation.

CMS VI completed. 4 questions. 1 minute prep 1 minute to answer. Crazy to say the least.
It’s a mix of motivational and situational. However that’s all explained prior to doing it.

I ran out of time on the first question and stuttered on many of my words due to the time being soo tight. The rest went ok. Hoping I progress but it’s really anyone’s guess given how bad my first question went.

For the qualifications section of the Addleshaw application, do we put every grade for each qualification or do we just put our overall grade for each qualification such as LLB, LPC, etc?

Please what font size is recommended for Slaughter and May cover letter, is font size 10 okay or too small?
10 is quite small if you have also narrowed margins/line spacing and if your paragraphs are pretty chunky.

10 can work if there is appropriate spacing elsewhere though. You can also hedge it with 10.5

CC's assessment process is described as 'CV-blind' except at interviews where they can read your supporting question response on ECs. I'm a bit confused - does this mean they don't read your work experience section? Do your grades not matter so long as you've passed the minimum academic requirements?
In other words, I'm a bit confused as to what happens if you pass the WG benchmark. Do they then manually review your work experience section + grades OR are you just automatically passed on to AC?

Thank you in advance :)
This also confused me! I think it might’ve been badly worded and means that at interview the interviewers will only have viewed your answer to this question and not the rest of your application?

I thought it was only CV blind at interview where it is only the supporting question response they see.

Just wanted to check that I've understood the CC recruitment process correctly:
    1. Watson Glaser 2. Review written application (work experience + grades) 3. Video Interview 4. AC

Also, I would greatly appreciate if someone could signpost resources for the VI. Is it akin to a Zoom call or is it sending a recorded video response?
    Thank you in advance.

    Morning, everyone!

I’m a bit confused about the Freshfields application process through Vantage. Am I correct in thinking that GCSE results and a CV aren’t required for Freshfields itself, but they are still mandatory fields on the Vantage forms?

If that’s the case, is there a way to bypass entering these details to submit the form? Or is it unavoidable to include them? Appreciate any clarification!

Hi, could you give tips as to how you prepared? I attempted multiple practice questions. I’m just unsure how to get the technique right.
    Hi,
I think that what really helped me was looking at the example questions in the CC prep test and understanding why a specific answer was correct. I also made sure I did not assume anything that was not said in the questions.
Not sure if that helps but good luck!
