Yeah I honestly thought they were done with rejections!I can't believe they are still sending rejections.
28th Sept, pretty early I think! That sucks. When did you apply?
Hey Guest, do you have a question for graduate recruitment? Gemma Baker from Willkie is live to answer your questions!

I'm sorry to hear @Stefano! I must say, my anxiety is so high right now. I feel like I've been waiting on an outcome forever
Hi all also waiting to hear back! I was just wondering what everyone was thinking re. the deadline for SM TC apps and the dates of the workshop? If you get on the workshop are you planning on submitting a TC application just before the deadline to include things from the workshop? Their TC deadline is 11 December and workshop 15-17 I think, so not sure how best to work around that! Best of luck to everyone xx
On the deadline. What about you?
Does the winter workshop not give you any advantage on application for the training contract?
Did you apply? If so when?
25th October. I think someone else mentioned they might be doing it chronologically. If so some rejections might still be pending
I though we might hear some positive news by the end of the week but im starting to think they won't send out acceptances till the end of next week.
Well if so I would talk about my application for the workshop... still proves that I’m interested in the firm! Not necessarily, but it does give you somewhat of an advantage, particularly at the interview stage. I spoke to a trainee at Slaughters, who said she was able to substantiate her interest in Slaughters by talking about the workshop during her interview, and this had given her an advantage over other candidates.

Definitely - We don't know why we get rejected most of the time as most firms don't provide feedback, so don't assume that it holds much weight going forward. I failed to get any AC's from regional firms last year, but I landed a vac scheme at a silver circle firm. Keep going strong!
Do you think slaughter cares about uni that much

I attended Slaughter and May's winter workshop last year and everyone who got on the workshop was guaranteed a training contract interview if they decided to apply.
I guess to a point but it does hire from a wide range of universities - what they care about more is grades, was on a application workshop and they do look for a 67,68 average (this was for the VS/TC, maybe it is a bit more lenient for the WW)
weird question. BUT when did you hear back? I am going crazy waiting,
