Ok thank you Jessica!wouldn’t expect to hear back for a while on winter schemes. It’s still very early for them. Interviews don’t typically happen until November.

I got rejected from farrers yesterday after first round interview
thank you camilla, i appreciate ur kind message. yeah im trying to be positive about it - after so many rejections you kinda get used to dealing with them in a better and healthier mannerI'm really sorry to hear that. Making it that far in such a competitive cycle is a testament to how strong your application must have been so try to take the positives from it. I am sure that success will be around the corner for you![]()
Bloody hell, that's quite the wait time! Didn't someone else say they'd had a rejection already?I contacted Macfarlanes today and they told me we'll hear back by the end of September

I am mentally drained and it makes hard to be motivated..I am also waiting to hear back from 3 firms..it is a sxxx moment for everyone!Bloody hell, that's quite the wait time! What does this mean in terms of GDL?
If they want me to start in 2022, I would have to start the GDL this September but I am not in the position to self-fund my studies and I have not signed up for the course...
Do they do an accelerated LPC? If so, you could do a GDL starting in January and still have enough time before starting. I understand there might also be an accelerated GDL option too (so I have heard anyway).
