I've seen several people get AC invites etc. from NRF - deadline is rolling and on 22nd November, is it too late to apply?
yup! think my message above is right! from the website:

Spring vacation scheme: apply from 5 October 2020 to 22 November 2020. Assessment days will be in January 2021.

I'm currently trying to complete the CMS VS application - one of the questions asks 'How would you describe the relationship between business and law'. I don't know why but I honestly cannot write 200 words on this question. I've just generally written about how the law and business are symbiotic (that's literally like a quarter of the word count).
I was thinking of writing about a specific innovative business and how the law/ law firms have supported its development. Honestly not sure if that is even relevant though lol.

Any guidance on this would be greatly appreciated :)

I was trying to answer this AG question:
Please choose a current COVID related legal issue and describe how this may be impacting the legal sector and specifically Addleshaw Goddard

Do you think it's ok for me to talk about the fact that the legal sector has to make a change in terms of client interaction? Law firms really value face-to-face client interaction, but now that it's not an option, it may have negative effects on client relations and also on lawyers, as they may feel that they have to work harder to maintain their client relationships. I was also going to bring in AG's specialism in the retail sector, and mention that bc they have clients that also rely on face-to-face interactions w their client/customers, AG would have to advise them accordingly

    Is this a 'legal issue'?

I'm doing the Willkie application right now - I've submitted all my information, work experience etc., which took ages. Is there any way to save and leave the form while I do the questions, or will I have to input it all again...?

I know I am late to this but I spoke to Grad Rec and their WG test was really hard so the pass rate was ridiculously low cause apparently loads of people failed it (as did I, despite passing others). Don't understand why a firm would do this, and then claim "we aren't doing this to catch you out" ahahha

thanks for this info celestie! does make me feel slightly better. Literally spent a full weekend feeling like crap after being rejected (even though I've been practicing) :(
